Facilities

The main facilities of the School of Physical Education and Sports Science of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens are located in the Municipality of Daphne, in the buildings block between Ethnikis Antistaseos Avenue, Idomenis Street and Ilioupoleos Avenue. The infrastructure includes:

• Athletics and sport facilities (tennis and volleyball grounds)

• track and field facilities
• Closed-indoor gyms, including an indoor basketball  and volleyball court
• An indoor heated swimming pool
• a football field
•  Dance and gymnastics facilities
• Two Lecture Halls (amphitheatres) equipped with the latest audiovisual technologies
•  A technologically updated library that provides a wealth of materials: rare books, dissertations, power point presentations, databases, videotapes, audio tapes, scientific journals, magazines, etc.
• Updated PC room, equipped with 20 PCs of the latest technology, network printers and broadband Internet access.
